Hi, obviously if your in the forum you like your dance but how many of you go clubbing @ the weekend??
I'm so addicted to it!! I DJ most weekends so usually have just one night out unless I finish early!
A fortnight ago I went to Ministry of Sound for the first time and it rocked. It was the first night of ClubClass with Nic Fanciulli blowing the roof off

I like to go clubbing too, i already said yes to this weekend night out to the clubs but i still dont know if i'm gonna go or not.
Maybe i'm a strange clubber, i go clubbing to dance like everyone else but i never drink alcoholic drinks there, maybe perhaps its too expensive or bcoz i want to be in total sense when i return home.

The best clubbing i went so far was when Martin Solveig came to DJ in a club in Mauritius, i was much before he was famous (few months before his first album was released) n i enjoyed a lot.

Yea I really enjoy clubbing, the clubs down here arent too great tho Liquid in Ashford is good. I dont go that often tho maybe once a month now, as my friends dont always want to go.

i go every 4-5 months or so... my fav's are Fabric and The Cross. Last one I've been to is Turnmills and most of it was pretty crap - but one room had some really dirty dance-electroclash I enjoyed. Been to MoS once and thought it was DREADFUL.... mabye it was the night (but if i remember correctly it was Paul O) but it was fully of peroxide blondes with fake tits and steroidy guys... truly BAD
A friend of a friend is having a bday night out this Friday at Fabric that I'm likely going to... will figure it out in the next day...

i like clubbing, but it depends on the club usually i go between once a week and once a fortnight; i've been 3 times over the past 8 days, which is a lot for me. the york club scene isn't fantastic... 3 "student" clubs, one of which is too expensive, another of which is very cheap but utterly utterly skanky, and one, called toffs, which we actually like. they have a nice affordable student night on tuesdays, which was where i was last night most of the people i go with like different music to me, and toffs has a "main" room where they play chart and cheese and another slightly smaller room where they play indie and alternative, so we alternate and we're all happy ;D

oh no, proper clubs suck well, mostly... i can be coerced in there, but i tend to sit around bemoaning the high prices, the stickiness of the floor and the general absence of good music there's one in leeds i like, but we literally go there once a year... in fact the annual trip is coming up in the next couple of months, lol

proper clubs do not suck... fabric is absolutely amazing.... they have lots of variety too so bound to a night you'd like. I didn't make on march 10 after all....

I had an amazing night in Fabric a few years back on a Friday night. And I hate 'proper' clubs normally - must go at least once this year again.
I prefer indie ones any night of the week.

Indie clubs are the only ones I go to now, the more relaxed atmosphere suits me and the music's better! - used to go to places like Gatecrasher in the late 90s (even had a silver cyberkid t-shirt ) but I just don't enjoy that type of club any more. Made a point of going to Renaissance when that opened in Nottingham again and that was a good night but haven't really been to any major clubs since then.
