Oh my goodness. They buchered one of the songs from the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack. There is only one song I know of called, "She's Like The Wind" and it is a Patrick Swayze song. If that is what is a cover of, do not support it. I sounds as if the cover is total rubbish. Thank goodness it is not getting any airplay or club play here in the States. Peace.

Be that as it may, it is unlikely it will make any impact here in the States. The original is still popular on Adult Top 40 Tracks, Rhythmic AC and Soft AC format radio stations. Thanks.

German chart info: "Like the Wind" by VibeKingz feat. Maliq reached No. 2 in the official German charts. Entry 11.08.2006, chart run 10-8-2-3-5-6-6-7-8-12-20-27-30-36-41-48-68-75. Follow-Up "This Letter (P.S. I Love You)" reached No. 44.
"Like the Wind" "inspired" songs like "Stand By Me" by Lemon Ice (yes, a Ben E. King cover!), a No. 11 hit, their follow-up "Only You" (YES, A YAZOO/FLYING PICKETS COVER!!!) or the recent "Self Control" by Caramelle feat. Nitro (and you guessed it, YES, a Laura Branigan/Raff cover).
So if it becomes a success, be prepared for more :-)
Greetings from Germany Alex

I prefer last year's version from Pit Bailay.
