I bloody love this! It's #2 in Mixmag's Big Tunes for September where they say it's 'this summers biggest new underground party-starter.'
Personally i love anything on Get Physical records.

12 November 2007There’s always one record to come out of Ibiza each summer that everyone is talking about and this year’s champion comes in the form of Samim’s massive Heater. Yes, the one with the accordion! The most original sounding record in years, who’d have thought a deep minimal techno bassline mixed with a crazy accordion hook turn it to what’s set to be the biggest dance single of the year! It really does some up the phrase ‘unlike anything you’ve heard before’ and in that respect is no surprise that such a massive buzz has been created around it. "Heater" comes from one of the most respected dance labels in the world, Germany’s ultra cool Get Physical and Data Records are extremely pleased to yet again beat the competition and have picked it up for a full UK release. After witnessing it as “The biggest tune in Ibiza this year" Pete Tong hailed it ‘Essential New Tune’, and ‘One For The Weekend’. It’s had a Jo Whiley daytime spin and the rest of the Radio 1 specialists have jumped on board to support it. Annie Mac quoted it as “The biggest track of 2007" and it’s been receiving spins from Dave Pearce, Judge Jules, Kissy Sell Out, Trophy Twins and Zane Lowe! In such a short space of time the record has crossed the shores from the biggest track on the white isle to become the biggest record in the UK now too! Steve Smart’s been playing it on the Kiss Network as have all the regional specialist DJ’s that matter, from the likes of Galaxy & Juice to Cool FM, Northsound & Radio City. Such the demand for Samim with the record buying public that digital download stores have been inundated with requests for ‘Heater’, it currently spent 3 weeks at # 1 in the Beatport top 100 chart and djdownload.com have stated it has received the most interest in a track since they can remember, ‘customer service have been bombarded with requests for a release date’. Youtube.com also provide interesting figures and show that at time of writing that ‘Heater’ has had over 100,000 views which is absolutely huge for a record of this nature and certainly a great indicator for the phenomenon that is Samim. Already in the Shazam Chart this week at # 10 they summed it up perfectly... “Swiss producer Samim may not be a familiar name to many but he appears to have hit the proverbial jackpot with his latest track “Heater” which has risen from what seems like nowhere to claim the envious title of “Ibiza Tune of The Year.” Unlikely though it sounds, “Heater” is a stripped down techno work out with a ridiculous accordion solo reminiscent of a trip through rural France with a large bag of mind-bending drugs. On paper it sounds horrendous but the fact that it's being embraced with open arms by everyone from underground dance legends such as Sven Vath and Carl Cox, to daytime radio presenter Jo Wiley shows it is track with a certain amount of universal appeal. Cool, credible and most importantly guaranteed to set a party off, “Heater” can currently be found at number 10 in the Shazam charts.” Data RecordsListen to radio edit: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj9HBtdPyKE
