Already being championed by Radio 1 with early support from Pete Tong, Judge Jules & Trophy Twins ‘Love Has Gone’ is an uplifting feel good anthem that you won’t be able to get out of your head.
Throw in support from Steve Smart on the Kiss Network and a Galaxy playlist addition 8 weeks upfront there’s no doubt that Data Records are yet again on to a winner.
Ever since it first appeared as an instrumental it’s been an instant floorfiller and now talented singer/ songwriter Haidara Swaray, aka H-Boogie delivers an astounding topline to take it to the next level. H’s writing talent (teamed with Myx Quest as vocal producer & co-writer ) and her distinctive raw vocal delivery turn this club anthem in to a poptastic chart topper. Maybe she’s picked up a few tricks from her talented sister Estelle! With both girls set to release tracks around the same time then watch out as it’s literally going to be sisters out for themselves!
The producers behind this smash hit hail from Canada. Dave Armstrong first found success with 2003’s house classic ‘Make Your Move’ on Oxyd Records, which was picked up and sampled on Junior Jack’s ‘Stupid Disco’. He then covered the Hall and Oates track with a dance version of “Out of Time” but was beaten to the hit by Uniting Nations. Finally cut to 2007 and it looks like all his hard work is going to pay off! Teaming up with production duo Redroche (Gio Bartzis & Antoine Batzis) and with the unique vocal talents of H-Boogie, ‘Love Has Gone’ has all the elements and more to be one of the biggest records of the year.
As the summer draws to a close let ‘Love Has Gone’ keep you on a feel good high that’ll have you dancing right through until next spring.
