It's a second record breaking week at the top for Gwen Stefani this week as she scores a new highest ever total of 177 points. She was a huge 37 points clear of nearest rival Kylie Minogue, who jumps up to #2. Green Day also leap up to #3 this week - will the song repeat the #1 success of the first single?

Explanation of how the chart is compiled: I take the top 30 songs from your lists and award each them the appropriate scores (30 points to your #1, 29 to your #2 etc down to 1 point for your #30). Then the total amount of points for that song from all the players is the score that goes to the multi-chart. Now, if there is a tie, a song is firstly deemed more popular if it features in more individual charts than another with the same amount of points and would therefore take the higher position. If this still does not seperate them then I look at which song has the highest position in a personal chart this week.

Thanks Dandy. I really love what this multichart is doing. Only one in the top 10 that I don't like, only one in the top 20 that I don't know. I suppose that I'll have to follow some of Sofie and Earl Purple's advice and look out that Akira song - can you call it a song or is it just a drunken chant?  |

Well son of a gun! Look who's #1!!!
I hope you all aren't charting the Mike Shinoda Remix of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence because it's appaling and only makes you want to listen to the original. The Ewan Pearson Remix is the best but it's quite similar to the original. Mike Koglin's 90s version remains as the best!

Easily a new highest ever total for the #1 tomorrowm, in fact the top 3 will all have more points than it took to get to #1 last week... the top 9 all managed more than 100 points, still not quite managed a whole top 10 yet.
Will Gwen retain her title?
