It's the first round of June's Sport Predicta and to celebrate darts being OFFICIALLY recognised as a sport, it will be the subject of our first round.
The competition is the UK Open, known as the FA Cup of Darts because the draw for each round is completely random, meaning the top players can meet each other long before the final. The whole tournament takes place over just 3 days.
An order of merit system based on prize money won at a series of regional qualifiers determines which round players enter the competition. The top 32 enter at Round 4 on the second day. 33-64 enter at the third round stage. In total, 174 players will take part in the competition.
Points will be awarded as follows:
Winner: 50 points Runner-up: 30 points Semi-finals: 20 points Quarter-finals: 15 points Last 16: 10 points Last 32: 5 points Last 64: 5 points (players outside top 32 only)
Players outside the top 32 on the order of merit will receive double points, except those knocked out at the last 64 stage.
To make things easier for me, please include the player's order of merit positions when you predict.
You must choose FIVE players. Players not shown here are available on request.
The deadline for predictions is 7pm on FRIDAY.
The top 64 from the order of merit list will be posted shortly.

The latecomers are lucky. The 3rd round is actually Saturday, not Friday.
Anyhow, any further entries won't be accepted.
