FragChart ~ Week 429 ~ Sunday 6 July 2008
The race for my 250th #1 hots up this week, with Frank Turner jumping to #2 and Weezer only just behind at #3. The Duke Spirit also continue their meteoric rise (30-14-7 so far), and there's a high new entry from former Beautiful South man Paul Heaton.
This week also sees three bubblers grow on me enough to make it into the chart proper, including MGMT from way down at #44 last week.
ARTIST TO CHECK OUT
Frank Turner: The only Bahrainian that I know of to have reached my chart. The former Million Dead frontman now tours near-constantly with his acoustic guitar and interesting stories.
