FragChart ~ Week 431 ~ Sunday 20 July 2008
Weezer just about make it a second week at #1, beating off a late challenge by Paul Heaton. Rosie Oddie rises into the top 10, as do Blood Red Shoes for the fourth time, and Travis for the ninth time. We also have two high new entries, both of which made the UK Top 75: Primal Scream and The Feeling.
Also this week, the surprise return of an artist last seen in this chart way back in 2003: it's Linkin Park, who appear to have changed their "sound" - the rap's gone!
The exit of The Indelicates after 16 weeks gives us three new longest runners, all with a paltry 9 weeks.
ARTIST TO CHECK OUT
Paul Heaton: Former Beautiful South man with quite a nice summery song that made a real push for my #1 spot this week.
