How can you be offside if you're behind the ball? From one of the angles it looked offside to me, I was waiting for the replay after the match but they didn't show it. I'll look at it again on MOTD2. Hull's 2nd goal was clearly offside, however. Highlights here: www.goalsarena.com/video/06.12.2008-hull-c.-middlesbrough-highlights_en.htmlIt's close but at worst, Tuncay is level with the ball when it's played by Hoyte and therefore, is onside.

RESULTS: DECEMBER 6th 1. greendemon 528 2. misterhamster 473 3. Earl Purple 451 4. Andy 407 5. Robin 407 6. Frag 385 7. Tom 385 8. Maximo Mark 330
Congratulations to the lovely greendemon who wins this week with a season record-equalling 528 points! It was a very high-scoring week: only one person managed a better score than last-placed Maximo Mark's 330 during November's five weeks, and that was... Maximo Mark, who got 341 points four weeks ago.

It's close but at worst, Tuncay is level with the ball when it's played by Hoyte and therefore, is onside. Those angles are inconclusive. His scoring foot is certainly behind the ball, but the difference is whether the standing foot is ahead of the ball. By the letter of the law, if the standing foot is ahead of the ball, he's offside, but it would have been very harsh. So I think the linesman was correct to give the goal. Right Result: Hull 1-1 MiddlesbroughThen in the Newcastle-Stoke game, Stoke's equaliser came from a free kick that shouldn't have been given. Right Result: Newcastle 2-1 Stoke. Those two decisions cost me 121 points this week... Bolton should have had two penalties, but it's uncertain that they would have scored both, particularly with Cech in goal. Although ironically, Terry (as well as Ivanovic) should have been sent off last week, so shouldn't even have been on the basketball football pitch.

Blimey, i thought my score would have seen me near the top Yes to the poll question, either Gillingham, Mansfield or Hearts for me, none of them are that easy to predict! Feeling bold this week... D5 Liverpool v Hull D2 Man City v Everton H4 Sunderland v West Brom D7 Tottenham v Man Utd (17:30) D3 Wigan v Blackburn H8 Burnley v Southampton H6 Crystal Palace v Doncaster D1 Plymouth v QPR H9 Wolves v Barnsley - partly tactical again.. H10 Celtic v Hearts - Going for the obvious option, but Hearts have won their last 5 matches since losing to Celtic so it could be close

Everyone lost out on the Celtic-Hearts game, wtf happened there?
Also, Liverpool game, Hull remind me of my own team from 2001-2, when Ipswich came 4th at the end of the season, were a new team, no-one knew our style and we had D. Bent in his academy days when he could run round anyone. Hull for top 7 and Europe I reacon.
Liverpool for championship? Maybe!
Anyway, I have the most rubbish score ever no doubt, blame it on first go!

I agree with your view on Hull: They'll finish top 7, possibly leading to Europe, but then they'll get relegated next year. Liverpool won't win the title. They'll be 3rd, and it'll come down to manure and the thugs again. You got a positive score, at least (I haven't checked the Championship scores yet), and someone got -55 (every single prediction wrong) last month!

That was me! I think Hull will struggle next season. Geovanni will be hard to keep hold of and their star striker will leave for nothing as a replacement for Zaki and/or Heskey!
