Channel 4 has publicly confirmed for the first time that Big Brother will end on the channel after BB11 next year. There will also be a final series of Celebrity Big Brother. news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8221995.stmWhilst there will be no more BB on Channel 4 after next year, it is possible Endemol may try and agree a deal with another broadcaster.

About time really. Viewing figures have been horrific this year
So that's two more series of Celeb BB (2010 and 2011)
I hope either one of those or next summer's BB will be an all stars edition

Hooray, the show is so out of date! Good riddance! Shame there has got to be one more though!

Oh well, all things come to an end eventually, i think 10 years is the right time to end it. R.I.P. Big Brother 2000-2010.

It was inevitable. In the end it just ran out of steam.

Yes, agree it needs to end. I have watched this series (first one since 2005) and it has been ok but it has run its course.

Watched all of them, i'll really really miss it but this is the right move to make.
Channel 4 should bring So You Think You Can Dance to the UK.

How desperate are the wannabes going to be for next year's show, knowing it's their last chance?!

I think they'll give the celeb one a miss in the new year and just finish it in 2011, maybe that could be the allstars one?

An allstars one would be great. I guess not all the winners would return and it could be boring if winners only (as generally nice people rather than most entertaining etc).

A very entertaining episode this evening, the day they axe it.

Does this "fundamental creative overhaul" Channel 4 speak of mean they're going to make some programmes that aren't aimed at 16-year-old girls?

Doubt it, probably reruns of Dawson Creek, or Friends?
