My votes are in.
On reflection, its been a pretty good year for British sport, with success in a number of different sports, involving established stars and newcomers, teams and individuals, men and women.
My toughest choice was the Overseas Sports Personality - there are two extremely deserving candidates on the list.

Have I missed something this year?
After the fantastic Olympics has the GB cycling team not underperformed?

They still won 9 medals at the World Championships with key team members missing (including Chris Hoy) and won the opening round of the World Cup series in Manchester with victories in 10 events.

Thanks for doing this mrh.
I didn't know you would accept more votes for hubby was going to put his in but I told him it was closed! - and Jessica Ennis would have won because he had her 2nd to Mark Cavendish.
Great victory for the England Women's Cricket Team - obviously the Haveners know their onions.

Thanks MrH. Disappointing turnout at the polls, but a far better set of results than the BBC version.
