It's disgraceful that they're cutting it to fit a 30 minute slot.

Someone posted this on another forum
The BBC have today confirmed that following numerous complaints they will be showing the *full* 40-minute shows as originally broadcast in the late-night repeat slots the show has.
Well that's something.

I suppose that's better than nothing as long as the full version is available on iPlayer. It's just annoying that all channels try to make sure all programmes start on the hour or half-hour in peak time. BBC4 ought to be more flexible.

I found it odd that they had Heavy Metal Boyz on last week, and it was never a hit, I thought they only picked songs that were in the Top 40?

I found it odd that they had Heavy Metal Boyz on last week, and it was never a hit, I thought they only picked songs that were in the Top 40? There have been quite a few non top 40 acts. A week or so ago they had City Boy on. They didn't have a hit until 1978 (5-7-0-5). It just goes to show that this rule about only having songs in the charts was a myth. Or, if you prefer it in tabloid headline style "HITS RULE IS A MYTH"
