Hey how many of you remember a 80s pop show starring Jenny Powell among others. It played a great mix of rock,US Hits and chart music and I have collected together the best of that time in a special YouTube Playlist. There's a few I have left off because I hate them or they were boring even then but I will add back in suggestions If I have missed anything good. Also not every song No Limits played had a video and I tried to stick to official videos as much as possible. Anyway lets relive the 80s!! www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfX9VEevrBKw-zQVTAPlihRHmwTPdbTXh

Not actually linked on the above, but it made me go searching for a song I heard on No Limits far too many years ago, but never heard since and had been looking for and finally found!! Not relevent to this thread, but I thought I'd share it anyway...

That's a pretty mixed bag of brilliant across to dreadful that you've selected, and great fun as a result.
Before clicking on the link, I was wondering whether you'd included Wang Chung, and you have. Hurrah.
One single I bought as a result of it being featured on No Limits (I think) was Boys Don't Cry "I Wanna Be A Cowboy".

Ive added another 20 or so now its tough, the few I still need to add don't have videos might add them just for completeness eventually. Missing a few biggies from Dep Leppard and Prince and some obscure hair rock

I remember some of these far too well!
I bought Tracy Spencer "Run To Me" at the time, but thought it was after a TV-AM appearance rather than No Limits.
Wasn't Lisa Maxwell one of the presenters as well at one stage?

Quick revival of this thread, I have fixed missing videos and added another twenty or so from acts that didnt use YouTube before like Def Leppard and ACDC.

Two video's that I remember from that time, which I may have seen for the first time on No Limits were:-
King Trigger - "The River" The Redskins - "Bring It Down"
Although as I'm typing this I've just realised that they may actually have been on Max Headroom instead.....but yes I remember No Limits. Wasn't there an American part of the show where Jonathan King reported on the Billboard charts?

They changed the format slightly but yes it did include chart news from UK and US, it was my favourite ever music show and I am sad that JK has tainted it forever. Will check those songs just in case thanks
