Connected to the thread "Top 100 best selling albums of the 80s" here's your chance to have your say. Vote for as many as you like- open for 5 days, top three to go through- ties to be decided in favour of the album that sold the most....

I could have voted for more, but just voted for 2 of my all time favourite albums, well out in front of the next best album on that list.

I listened to Songs From The Big Chair the other night and had forgotten what a great band Tears For Fears used to be. Voted for this and Actually.

Probably the biggest one horse race in any of these polls I've done- Pet Shop Boys is clearly one to watch as they smash all opposition, Tears for fears are also through having been a distant second all week and Whitney Houston sneaks through in third. Commiserations to both Culture Club and Five Star who were in third place at various points in the week but like a McFly record couldn't maintain it to the week end...

I don't find the Tears For Fears album special at all outside of the hits

Boo hiss at those who didn't vote for 5 Star At least Whitters made it,just. Maybe I need to re-listen to early Pet Shop Boys. Bilingual was my first PSB album, and I still listen to it,and then Nightlife which I still play too. After that,I bought a 3 disc set of Please/Actually/Behaviour - I'm looking at the tracklistings now and don't remember any of the non singles at all (except 'How Can You Expect to Be Taken Seriously',unless that was a single and I never knew it )

How the hell did 5-star beat U2?
Rattle & Hum contains the song All I Want Is You, better than everything 5-Star ever did put together, as well as Angel Of Harlem. Whilst I agree as a whole it wasn't as good as either Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby, it's still a fine album.
