Which of these songs in the year 1968 in your view should not have been #1, I am doing polls for the whole Sixties this time, once we have 10 winners (we have to split up some years there is not enough options on a poll to match the #1's in a year plus joint winners) we will have a last poll to decide which song out of the years 1960-1969 should not have been #1.
These are 3 day polls this time.
Happy Voting

Voted for a track that made it on to this album: (Yes, I do own it. I bought it for £2 in a Woolworths sale back in the day)

That was a little more difficult as 60's rounds go. I must admit I went for the one I liked the least.

Just as well I had Des O'Connor to vote for or I'd have had to vote for the only Israeli artist to reach #1.

Also glad Des is in there to vote for........hope that the vote doesn't go to the eurovision song of 1968 as a trip to Frankie and Benny's is never the same without hearing this at least once

I don't think Cliff is likely to win this, that's a great song.

2 for Hey Jude? WTF?
The Scaffold featured a guest lyric from Graham Nash of the Hollies, in the Jennifer Eccles bit...

I don't know the Des O'Connor single. Or any of his other singles. But I do have a Bucks Fizz/Des o'Connor duet on my ipod, that I recently found on youtube. It's naff but fun. I voted for Hey Jude. It always makes me think of Jason Orange. Not that that's a reason to not like it,it just does. Back in Take Thats day (first time 'round),Jason never sang any leads, and then the day came ,where they were all gonna do a solo in concert - even Jason He did Hey Jude and it sounded like something that anyone could sing, and the audience did all the 'na-na-na-na-blah-blah-blah-blah-hey jude ' bits. And the song feels like it lasts for half an hour.
