So seeing as my chart is a monthly one with 40 completely different songs each time and no movement, I've decided to try a little something that I hope to do over the course of this year. I plan to re-visit each chart 3 months later to see how it would look if I compiled it now. My chart is all about instant impact and sometimes songs need a little bit more time to grow, which is why my end-of-year chart often features songs doing well that weren't particularly high in my monthly chart. This may (or may not) act as a pointer towards those end-of-year trends, giving an indication of how certain songs are growing on me as the months go by. I'm using the same 40 songs that were in the original chart so no new entries.
