HAVEN COMBI RETRO CHART W/B 13th JANUARY 1985
A third week at number one for Foreigner with I Want To Know What Love Is as they amass an enormous 200 points this week – the highest weekly score in almost two years since Bonnie Tyler topped the charts in March 1983 with Total Eclipse Of The Heart.
Strawberry Switchblade continue their slow ascent of the Top 40 as they reach number 2 on their 12th week on the chart. They’ve got their work cut out to go any higher though, with a 61 point gap between them and the top of the chart.
Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson move up to number four with I Know Him So Well and Bryan Adams is up to number five with Run To You.
Prince gets a couple of re-entries as Little Red Corvette and 1999 crash back into the chart.
This week’s biggest climber is The Boys Of Summer from Don Henley, up 20 places to number 18
