HAVEN COMBI RETRO-CHART W/B 3rd MARCH 1985
After a fortnight at the top Dead Or Alive relinquish the number one spot as Madonna takes over with Material Girl, becoming her first chart topper in another closely fought battle.
Not much movement otherwise at the top, with Dead Or Alive, Don Henley and Prince all slipping a place to accommodate Material Girl. The challenge for Madonna next week could come from Stephen 'Tin Tin' Duffy, who rises to number 5 with Kiss Me.
Philip Bailey and Phil Collins re-enter the chart at number 19 with Easy Lover and Go West get a big sixteen place climb to number 8 with We Close Our Eyes.
