Yes. It was a real pain in the arse getting the day off work but I managed. I think they realised I was going to go to the game regardless!

Dunkirk seem to have loads of fighting spirit so far, wonder who they get next round.

How can they have done the draw but it's not on their website, or in the fixtures section?

How can they have done the draw but it's not on their website, or in the fixtures section? At first, they just posted a link to the draw on Twitter but hadn't put it on the main page. It's on the fixtures section now.

CITY OF LIVERPOOL 8-2 Prescot Cables Well, John Prescott and Vince Cable are getting on a bit. They did well to score two.

Wasn't there an FA Cup match a few years back that finished 8-2 _after extra time_? *A quick google search later* Yes there was: Leyton Orient scored an 89th-minute equaliser to force extra time, then scored six unanswered goals in 30 minutes. The game also finished 9v9... news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/9260058.stm

BBC have been a bit quicker in announcing their live game for the next round:
Billericay Town v Didcot Town
Possibly because of Billericay's publicity-hungry owner who also happens to be their manager and has funded signings like Jermaine Pennant and Paul Konchesky.

I hope Billericay have a player called Richard, aka Billericay Dickie.

He was at Dover for a number of years and played in the National league for them. Says a lot that he's prepared to drop 3 divisions...

Going to watch my first FA Cup tie for a few years this afternoon - Herne Bay v Walton Casuals, 2 clubs who play in Isthmian South. Haven't been to enough Herne Bay games in recent years, the last time was also for an FA Cup tie in 2011...
New era for Herne Bay after their best ever manager Sam Denly left in the summer over budget cuts. I don't know how long he'd been planning to leave but I knew he wouldn't be happy at being in a relegation battle last season, early in the season there looked a real chance they'd be going down and he was always an ambitious manager talking about the playoffs etc in the short-medium term. Personally I wasn't too sure that was realistic but the season before they came close, only falling away for good after losing a player to a head injury which eventually caused him to retire. Last season he thought with the right backing they would have made the playoffs. They've now got a management duo, John Embery and Jermaine Darlington, some of you may know the latter name, ex Watford player I think.
Anyway, tough game today, Walton Cas are top of the league having won all of their 4 games.
