JK Rowling/Robert Galbraith adaptation is coming of 'The Cuckcoo's Calling' & 'The Silkworm' to BBC1 on 27 August, with part 2 to follow on Bank Holiday.
The book was written in 2013 and has been adapted into three one-hour episodes, with its first 2014 sequel The Silkworm adapted into a two-part story by Tom Edge and due to air in the weeks after. In total, it will be a seven-part series.
I've read the books, really looking forward to this, to see how the books are adapted.
Book 3: Career of Evil is currently been filmed due to air on BBC1 early in the new year.

Same here, really liked the books. Casting looks rather decent too.

Meant to watch this but forgot. Have to see if it's on the catch up or iPlayer.

It will be, watched the 1st ep. seemed okay, 2nd one still to watch. Bit cliché, but there you go, anything she writes is lapped up.

First episode was brilliant, second one was slow and struggled to get going, but am looking forward to the final episode tomorrow.
Nowhere as good as The Night Manager, which was the last BBC drama I followed; that one was brilliant from start to finish.
