The Champion of Champions is taking place this week. Judd Trump and Neil Robertson are through to the semi-finals. Trump had five century breaks in his 6-3 quarter-final win over David Gilbert - a record for a best-of-11 match. Kyren Wilson is currently 4-0 up against Mark Selby (though looking like 4-1). The final quarter-final spot will go to one of Ronnie O'Sullivan, Mark Allen, Scott Donaldson or Michael Holt.

Sensational fightback by Selby to beat Wilson 6-5. He'll play Robertson in the semi-finals.
Also, it was confirmed today that the UK Championship will be played in Milton Keynes, rather than at the Barbican in York.

Catch-up...
Mark Allen won the Champion of Champions.
Judd Trump won the Northern Ireland Open for the 3rd year in a row, beating Ronnie O'Sullivan in the final for the 3rd year in a row, 9-7 for the 3rd year in a row. Trump's the first player to win a ranking tournament 3 years running since Stephen Hendry won the UK Championship in 1994-6. It's the first time 2 players have met in a final 3 years running since Hendry and Jimmy White in the World Championship in 1992-4.
The UK Championship gets underway today, like the other events this season so far, in Milton Keynes.

Huge win for Jack Lisowski yesterday. He was set to drop out of the top 16 and miss the Masters but his run in this tournament puts him back in and it looks like it's between Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and Joe Perry for the last spot. This is the first time Lisowski has reached the quarter-finals of a triple crown event.

What a long final.
Robertson wins 10-9 after judd lazily misses the final pink.
They both looked knackered and in all fairness not enjoying the celebratory bit at the end.
Judd plays in Scottish open only a few hours later this evening.

A surprisingly attritional final and yes, no break for either, though Trump's 1st round match has sensibly been put back to tomorrow night.
Meanwhile, the draw for the Masters was made yesterday:
Stuart Bingham v Thepchaiya Un-Nooh Shaun Murphy v Mark Williams Mark Selby v Stephen Maguire Neil Robertson v Yan Bingtao Judd Trump v David Gilbert Kyren Wilson v Jack Lisowski John Higgins v Mark Allen Ronnie O'Sullivan v Ding Junhui

Ronnie O'Sullivan is through to the final after beating Li Hang 6-4, having trailed 4-1. It will be his 55th ranking final - just one short of Stephen Hendry's record.
Meanwhile, it turns out Kyren Wilson was involved in a car accident before his match yesterday and suffered whiplash injuries, though no-one was seriously hurt.
