Game of Thrones. I only got upto the end of series 6 do going to rewatch series 6 then watch the final 2 seasons I am so tempted to tell you not to bother with season 8, I think if I had stopped watching after season 7 I would have overall enjoyed it more! The first 6 seasons are great though, especially the first 4.

Haven't read the book but am thinking of giving this a go. I am into period dramas at the moment! (OK, I'm always into them let's be honest )

I have that on record, not a big fan of period stuff generally, but will give it a go, if it's an interesting story? And enjoy GofT Daz, I think it was tied up the best way possibly, dont be swayed by these naysayers

My sister said she enjoyed the final season, I guess if you've been rooting for your favourite character to win the game of thrones for almost a decade and you have in your head the way you want it to end and they get killed off GOT style you could dislike the final season, plus I can see the "magic" element taking over in season 6, so lets see where they run with that, I'm sure I will enjoy it

I could probably write an essay about why being disappointed with the way it ended is way more than 'my favourite character died' or whatever, but here's probably not the place Astonishingly I didn't really have a particular way I wanted it to end, which was part of why I was so excited for the final season - I wanted to see what they could do in 6 episodes that was going to tie it all together in a satisfying way. All I will say is that broadly I didn't have a problem with how things ended, just the process of getting there felt way too rushed. Many of the things that happened could have made sense, but the writers didn't really make it make sense. There was a lot of what writers and storytellers call 'telling' rather than 'showing': it's just said 'this is the way things are now!' without the audience really being able to draw that logically from the narrative. I guess you'll make your mind up when you see it!

The brilliant lockdown comedy Staged on BBC1 with David Tennant, Michael Sheen and the odd special guest.

Snowpiercer
"Seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, the remnants of humanity inhabit a perpetually-moving train that circles the globe, where class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out."
Such a good cast
Jennifer Connelly (The girl from the Bowie film Labyrinth) Alison Wright (The Americans) Iddo Goldberg (Peaky Blinders, Westworld) Mike O'Malley (The Good Place and My Name Is Earl) Sean Bean Susan Park (Fargo and The Good Place) Jonathan Walker (Continuum) Aleks Paunovic (Battlestar Galactica, The 100, Continuum) Steven Ogg (Better Call Saul, Walking Dead and Trevor from GTA V) Stephen Lobo (Continuum and Travelers) Mark Margolis (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul)

The first series was great and, judging by the first episode, the second is as good, if not better.

Any good?

I'm only part of the way through, they are releasing 1 episode a week I'm enjoying it so far but I'm not sure if that's because I love a good dystopian future film/series or if its genuinely good yet.
