Just watched episode 3 of The Last Of Us.
After being a bit unsure (and uncommitted) after the first two episodes, and not really seeing much to distinguish it from The Walking Dead, I am now fully invested. That was a fantastic episode of telly! Fully deserves all the high praise I'm seeing everywhere. Hope it hasn't peaked too early.

Just watched the 3 part drama Nolly on ITVx starring Helena Bonham-Carter as Noele Gordon Thought it was very good, i loved Crossroads growing up. The documentary The Real Nolly was also good.

The last ever Happy Valley is on Sunday night, and I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a programme!

The last ever Happy Valley is on Sunday night, and I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a programme! It's gonna be emotional. Confession time - I'd always put the show aside to finally watch one day (and totally had it and Last Tango in Halifax muddled up in my brain) then lo and behold 7 years have flown by and I returned from holidays to find the final series had started, so I've binged 17 episodes in just over a week and blimey, it's one of the best crime dramas I've seen in ages. Bonus points for being so local. Only downside is my husband works in social housing and all his flats are routinely featured in the show as being smack dens and full of criminals!

I've done the same (minus muddling it up with Tango) and it's been a joy catching up on it!

It's amazing that Sally Wainwright wanted to (and was allowed to) hold S3 back until Ryan was older and they still hung onto the same cast. One of my former film students worked on the set and so I've had a few titbits about the filming (no spoilers - wouldn't want them, and wouldn't ask for them). Out of interest, have you watched "Last Tango in Halifax"?
