76. Sam Fender - Will We Talk? Great track by one of the breakout artists of 2019, two year ago this young lad from North Shield was playing to 40 people in Tynemouth Surf Café and now he has a #1 critically acclaimed album and three top 60 singles

74. Johnny Marr - Armatopia The former Smiths guitarist is realeasing some of the best solo music of his career in recent years, this one peaked at #4 in my chart and we still have a #2 hit left to come

73. Keane - Stupid Things After 7 years away Keane were back in 2019 with their 5th studio album Cause and Effect, it was a solid comeback without being spectacular, I managed to catch them live too for the first time since about 2006 and this was my favourite single from the album.

72. Deaf Havana - Holy Great song from the English alternative rock band from Norfolk, Holy was a crossover song between 2018 and 2019 with the video coming out January 2019 but it peaked in 2019 so here it is, from Deaf Havana's fifth studio album 'Rituals'

70. The Sherlocks - Magic Man There's just something about indie rock bands from Yorkshire, Arctic Monkeys, Milburn, Little Man Tate, Kaiser Chiefs, Pulp, Shed Seven, The Cribs, Embrace, Human League, Bring Me The Horizon, The Beautiful South, Reverend and the Makers, The Long Blondes etc just when one scene dies off a new wave of bands emerge, Yorkshire is a conveyer belt of great music and for me The Sherlocks are the next in line

69. Badflower - Promise Me Their debut studio album, titled OK, I'm Sick was released in February and it is such an emo throwback, "You promised me you'd never grow up but you f***ing grew up. God, I miss you so much and even when your heart gave out, I was thinkin' I'd love you 'til forever and I can't face the truth" and the video is pretty cool too

68. Black Honey - I Don't Ever Wanna Love These have had a hit in my chart almost every year since their debut in 2015, Spinning Wheel bubbled under my top 75 and sounded like some female fronted femme fetale Quentin Tarentino movie theme song, I never realised how many top 5 songs they have had in my chart but I Don't Ever Wanna Love is the fifth
All My Pride #19 Hello Today #3 Somebody Better #2 Dig #43 Bad Friends #3 I Only Hurt the Ones I Love #4 Midnight #7 Into The Nightmare #9 Bloodlust #18 I Don't Ever Wanna Love #3

67. Furious Monkey House - Echoes Furious Monkey House are a Spanish rock group formed in 2014 by their music teacher, this is their second album and they've barely turned 16, their English lyrics and 90s grunge sound is right up my street. I came across them when they released Echoes and Reckless earlier this year and loved them both

66. YONAKA - Don't Wait 'Til Tomorrow Yonaka are a British rock band from Brighton. To date they have released three EPs and their debut album Don't Wait 'till Tomorrow which reached 38 on the UK Albums Chart and 10 on the UK Vinyl Albums Chart. They combine heavy riffs, melodic hooks, and on-stage punk furor like the wild spawn of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Royal Blood, this single of the same name came out early summer

65. The Raconteurs - Sunday Driver The super group fronted by Jack White and Brendan Benson surprised us all by dropping a single this year after 10 years away and it was a banger, whilst their new album might have disappointed this single certainly didn't

59. Starbenders - Holy MotherStarbenders are an American rock band from Atlanta, they are another one who have just signed with Sumerian Records in 2019, I missed most of their releases but this one came out in September and had me hooked, TheThorne will like these, they are like Starcrawler with gothic vibes and peaked at #3 in my chart one of their songs I missed earlier in the year
