I hope gilbert doesn't get too badly reprimanded from his concession.

Canada could be a force to reckon with at home in wc26. They've come on so fast in the last 2 years.

EUROPEGroup C: QUALIFY FOR THE WORLD CUP |
Pos | Team | Pld | GD | Pts | Q | | 8 | +28 | 20 | P | | 8 | +22 | 18 | 3 | | 8 | +15 | 11 | 4 | | 8 | -19 | 7 | 5 | | 8 | -46 | 1 |
A dramatic finish in Utrecht where Esmee Brugts scored a stoppage time winner to clinch victory for the Netherlands over Iceland. It means the 2019 runners-up leapfrog Iceland to finish top of the group and qualify for the World Cup. Iceland must settle for a playoff place, though they do receive a bye to the 2nd round. ^

I never said this guy got abused on Saturday. And he shouldn't get sacked but a refresher course. The problem is there's no public perception that the refs will get spoken too if they've had a bad game. It's a shame they can't be rated like the players are. And constructive criticism added. If you get paid then do the job well. Take pride in your performance. Var doesn't need to stop play for everything. Like in rugby the TV ref looks at lots of things and only goes back to things he feels need looking at. Can do that in football. The yellow card for instance would just be delayed. I'd rather talk about the football then the refs at the end of a game. I take it you think hair pulling in the Chelsea spurs game is fine too.

Oh and yes var could be brought in for more instances then it is. Rugby has it spot on. TV ref can bring it back for anything he feels needs looking at and it works well.

Yes human but if I got my job so wrong I'd be sacked. The training needs to improve so standards are improved. Dereham was refereed almost to a racial standard as every time one of the 2 non white players got near the ball the ref gave a free kick the other way. 1 of them on the ground for 3 minutes and ref only stopped when the crowd, both benches and assistant ref shouted at him. I'm fully aware they can get awful scenarios but the good refs get applauded, even if the team lose. The respect of a good ref is there and unfortunately there seems to be little consequence for poor refereeing. They are paid at the end of the day. Even non league refs.

Why are the referees so bad? Dereham ref yesterday was pathetic and Chelsea spurs ref missed an obvious foul

Norwich play on 1st July at Dereham for the first pre season friendly. I shall be there. 8 quid to enter and I hope Dereham score a couple.
Ipswich played their first friendly at the weekend and won 7-0

Afraid to say Dereham aren't in that division anymore. They've been moved sideways to midland division. Followed Cambridge City and got to travel to brum a few times. Now in NP1M The divisions shown are the divisions teams were in for the 21/22 season. Aye I'm aware. Still a shame they've been moved sideways.
