Diana Ross & Marvin Gaye's You Are Everything becomes the first Motown record in the UK to receive an official certification from BPI. Silver Disc for sales of 250k. so nothing for Baby Love, Reach Out I'll Be There, I Heard It Through The Grapevine or Tears Of A Clown which were all number ones? Certifications are normally for shipments not sales. But I think a lot of the time it was up to the record companies to claim these and so that might simply not have happened? Official certifications only began in 1973 when the BPI was founded

Not a surprise.
I suppose it's the way of things but both the sing-off songs would have done well with me in the round proper.

Cliff's The Young Ones hasn't aged well.
I also prefer Dance to Lookin' Out The Window.
But I like Dancing Shoes better than Summer Holiday
Really nearly all these 60s tracks are great.
One of my older brothers was a big Helen Shapiro fan and when I inherited the family box of 45's I discovered a good number of singles by her after she fell from popularity and many of them are excellent.

It's not often I'm going with the Haven flow but much as I like Marvin that song was dire and I even shocked myself by not giving it any points

Rather surprisingly Taylor got my top points - much the best track in the round

Of the three left one I didn't give any points to, one got my top points and one got middling points!
