Here's the first half of the countdown, from numbers 100 down to 51. Let me know if a problem with any of the images and I'll copy in manually, it just won't have the breakdown by individual chart against each song.

The Beautiful South’s first entry (of three) on the countdown, I’ll Sail This Ship Alone, is the current number five song on the Retro-Chart having been anchored there for three weeks.
Tears For Fears first entry (of two) has recently left the chart. Despite reaching number three, and following up a big number one single, Woman In Chains spent only six weeks on the chart so barely makes it into the Top 100 countdown.
Kennedy by the Wedding Present capitalised on the growing popularity of indie music during 1989 and gave the band their first Top Ten hit, reaching number 7 in October. Not a bad achievement considering that half of voters didn’t give this any points at all.
The return of the Bangles was more warmly received on the Retro-Chart than the Official UK chart. Their Everything album provided them with two Top Five hits in 1989 (as well as In Your Room, which was also Top Five in 1988) Be With You reached number five in June, but it’s their number one single from April that will appear towards the other end of this countdown.
The reverse is true for Milli Vanilli. Girl I’m Gonna Miss You was a number two hit on the Official UK chart and a third and final US number one. Here, it spent a solitary week in the Top Ten at number nine.
The bottom five songs separated by just one point each.
After a first stab at chart success in 1988, Cuddly Toy by Roachford reached number 17. A second lease of life this year took this even further, spending two weeks at number 10.
With over half of its points coming from Darkstar, Me, Myself and I is the first of two songs by De La Soul on the countdown, reaching number 11 in April.
The biggest of their two Top 20 hits this year, Sit Down by James reached number seven in July. The follow-up, Come Home, is still charting, having recently peaked at number 16.
Having scored a minor Top 40 hit last year with The Way You Love Me, Karyn White achieved two Top 20 hits this year – the biggest of which, Superwoman, got to number 17 in June.

Another good year for the Cure. Both of their releases this year went Top Five, with both Lovesong and Lullaby appearing in this section of the countdown.
Don’t Know Much by Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville couldn’t quite match the number two peak of the Official Chart, spending two weeks at number 6 last month on here.
Bananarama have appeared on the Top 100 countdown for the last three years with various S/A/W compositions. They keep up that tradition this year (with a bit of Help from Lananeneenoonoo), although this is the lowest they’ve featured on this countdown in all this time.
It’s been a good first year on the chart for the Stone Roses, with three Top 20 hits under their belt, and a fourth (Sally Cinnamon) just entering the chart at #35 this week. Fools Gold is their first of two entries on the countdown, reaching number 4 earlier this month, and still picking up points on the weekly chart.
Belfast Child provided Simple Minds with their first (and only) Official UK number one. It received a more lukewarm reception on here, spending two weeks at number three in February but with only a five week chart run.
Dusty Springfield hit number one on the Retro-Chart in 1987 alongside the Pet Shop Boys with What Have I Done To Deserve This. She couldn’t quite work the same magic on this next composition with them, Nothing Has Been Proved, which made number three in March. Her next song, coming up a bit later, is a different matter though….
A great year for Swedish duo Roxette with three Top Ten hits. Listen To Your Heart peaked at number eight last month while Dressed For Success hit number four in July. Their one-week chart topper from April will feature much later in the countdown.
Too Many Broken Hearts was the fourth biggest song of 1989 on the Official Chart, spending two weeks at the top in March. Receiving points from just five charts, Jason could only take this to number ten on here. None of his other hits have made it this far on the countdown.
Fuzzbox are another act to earn three Top 20 hits this year. Self! reached number 20 over the summer, with Pink Sunshine climbing to number 7 in May. Which leaves their biggest hit on its way shortly.
Michael Jackson is still pulling single releases from his 1987 Bad album, with singles eight and nine both hitting our Top Ten in 1989. Liberian Girl made number nine in July, with Leave Me Alone peaking at number four in February, and being his only appearance on this countdown.

Retro-Chart favourites, the Eurythmics, have had four number one singles on here. With a new album out this year, We Too Are One, hopes were high at add to this tally, however first single Revival only made it as far as number 15 in September. Things went better for their second single, Don’t Ask Me Why, which spent two weeks at number three in November.
Kick spawned four Top Ten hits last year for INXS, including two of the biggest songs of 1988 – Need You Tonight and their number one, Never Tear Us Apart. They continued the trend this year, mining Kick for another single, Mystify, reaching number four in April.
R.E.M. manage two appearances on the year end countdown of 1989. Their first, Orange Crush, actually peaked higher, at number four, matching their previous best, The One I Love from 1987.
Like Roachford, Sam Brown had two chart runs with her big hit Stop. Originally peaking at number 16 last year, it’s re-release sent it back up to number four in February. Subsequent release, Can I Get A Witness, also went Top Ten, peaking at number nine in May.
Last year was a bumper year for Erasure with three songs on the Top 100 countdown (Chains of Love and their two number one singles, Stop! and A Little Respect) With new album, Wild!, released this autumn, Erasure haven’t quite achieved the same level of success in 1989. You Surround Me peaked at number 14 a couple of weeks ago, with lead single, Drama!, reaching number four in October.
The combined talent of Robert Howard and Kym Mazelle sent their collaboration on Wait to number four in January. Robert Howard’s biggest song, It Doesn’t Have To Be This Way, with the Blow Monkeys, reached number two in 1987, while Kym Mazelle’s subsequent releases have failed to chart.
Morrissey’s solo release, Viva Hate, generated two appearances on last year’s Top 100 countdown: Suedehead and Every Day Is Like Sunday. Two further releases were made this year, however with Interesting Drug only reaching number 14 in April, Last of The Famous International Playboys is his only appearance this year, having peaked at number two in February.
Narrowly missing out on the top spot earlier this month, Swedish dance act, Rob ‘n’ Raz with Leila K make number 73 on this list and still in the Top Ten on the weekly chart.
The return of Tina Turner after a two year absence saw two single releases from her Foreign Affair album. I Don’t Wanna Lose You reached eight just three weeks ago, with lead single The Best peaking at number five in September.
After a quiet 1988, Madonna makes up for lost time with four appearances on this year’s countdown, all of which made the Top Ten on the weekly chart. Her first appearance is courtesy of Express Yourself, which reached number three in June.
