Surely that's not good (the FA postponing games), not only for Marske but for the opposition too? It's going to deprive clubs of much needed income. Does the FA pay some sort of compensation to affected clubs?
It's two home games that have been postponed so it doesn't affect any other clubs yet. I guess the FA's logic will be the games will be played eventually (unless it becomes apparent the club is unable to continue).
Is it looking likely that Marske will continue to fulfill its fixtures?

I genuinely don't know what's going to happen at this point. There's a meeting tomorrow which I will be attending. I've been on the committee for a long time but haven't been part of any decision making process since the previous chairman took over about six years ago.

I hope everything works out for your club. My local team, Washington FC, have came close to folding at least twice in the last 10 years, including once submitting forms to withdraw from the Northern League before a last minute rescue but they've managed to survive. They lost their ground though and were like nomads for a few seasons but now have a home ground in the town once again.

One-and-a-half games in to their Europa League campaign, Brighton had lost to AEK Athens and were 2-0 down in Marseille. Tonight they beat Marseille to top the group. I'm quite pleased!

Lost 3-1 at Ilkeston. Took the lead but couldn't hold on, losing to a 25 yard curler and a goal direct from a corner. Enjoyed the day as we don't know how many more of these away trips we will get to have.

It's very sad to read that things are this serious for Marske

But at least Tom Lockyer is stable again after his 2nd collapse on a football field in 7 months.

^ and Luton beat Newcastle today too.
I hope Tom Lockyer can make a full recovery, if not to be able to play professional football again, at least to be able to live a full and active life.

In other news, the first female referree to take charge of a Premier League match, did so today. Rebecca Welch is from the same town as where I live and I can remember hearing about her taking her first steps in professional refereeing a number of years ago.

I think I posted about her when she made her EFL debut. I first saw her running the line in the Wearside League Cup final and she also refereed us a few times in the league and FA Vase. Always thought she was a good ref and great to see her reaching the highest level.

Africa Cup of Nations results so far: GROUP D Algeria 1-1 Angola Frustrating game for the Fennec Foxes. They dominated the game, but only had one goal to show for it, so must do better!
