Quite obviously match-fixing. Definitely nothing to do with Arsenal managing one shot on target in 90 minutes. Nope. Not at all.

Fixing may be a bit harsh, but we were certainly screwed over quite incredibly by var - Bruno should have been sent off two or three times over, and the goal should have been disallowed for three separate reasons.

I watched Match of the Day last night. The ball didn't go out and there was no offside but there probably was a foul so it should have been disallowed for that.
If there is any team currently suffering from a string of poor refereeing decisions it is Wolves. There was no foul, the player dived. VAR is supposed to be there to catch this.

Not fixed 2. Not screwed over. 3. Bruno should not have been sent off once, never mind three times. 4. Kai Havertz should have been sent off. 5. Ball wasn't out. 6. Goal not offside. 7. Possible foul for the goal, but no different from the tactics Arsenal's defenders employ against opposition strikers whenever they are defending corners. 8. Arteta totally out of order with his inflamatory post-match comments. Should be fined a huge amount. 9. Martin Keown is the most biased of MOTD's analysts. 10. Martin Keown is a total hypocrite, given his only style of play was "seriously foul" at every opportunity. 11. Arsenal supporters need to stop playing the victim every time a 50:50 decision goes against them. 12. Arsenal supporters need to start appreciating they have an excellent team and an excellent manager, but so do Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle.

It was a foul for the goal, two hands in his back so he cant head the ball clear as he's been moved out of the way, not sure on the offside, and the ball looked in. Havertz could have been sent off, but Guimares clearly elbowed the Arsenal player as he ran past him and so should have been sent off as well.
Just watched Portsmouth (top of league 1) be totally outclassed by Chesterfield (top of national league) in the FA Cup, saying that, I'm not sure how Chesterfield are paying Will Grigg, Tom Naylor and Ollie Banks to name 3 of their squad. Maybe the brown envelopes have made a return...

Reading the last few comments above I feel it is appropriate to post this visual piece of comedy satire:

When I started following Brighton & Hove Albion they were a third tier club in a sh*t stadium with aspirations of playing in the second tier for the odd season or two. Ajax were one of the biggest names in European football, Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 Ajax And now the same result in Amsterdam. Brighton's only clean sheets this season have been against the once-mighty Ajax.

Man United above Newcastle in the table, but all I hear is what a shambles Man U are? They've beaten one team in the top half (Brentford) and 5 of their 7 wins have come against teams currently in the bottom 6. They've scored 13 goals in 12 league games and have lost against every good team they've faced and have picked up 3 points from a possible 12 in the Champions League. So they might be sitting in a decent position in the table right now but all the results prove is they're not getting relegated.

The number of 1-0 victories and stoppage time winners does further mask the issues Man U are having too.
As Panda says, 13 goals scored compared to the teams around them averaging the 25 goal mark highlights where one of the problems are.

Fair enough, you can only beat what is in front of you, I just see lots of noise around Man U when Newcastle have spent bid and are lower and Chelsea have spent even bigger and are lower still. I guess United will fall to mid table when they start to play the "better" teams. Cracking Chelsea v Man City game, wish I'd gone to the pub to watch it now!

We're certainly no longer everyone's second favourite team but it's a Happy 131st Birthday to Newcastle United. The club was founded on 9 December 1892.
It's also a Happy Birthday to Harvey Barnes, our left winger, who is 105 years younger than that (he's 26) today...

To cut a long story short, it seems FA approval is required before a takeover or change in structure like this so they've stepped in and put a block on the club playing fixtures until that process is completed.

Surely that's not good (the FA postponing games), not only for Marske but for the opposition too? It's going to deprive clubs of much needed income. Does the FA pay some sort of compensation to affected clubs?

It's two home games that have been postponed so it doesn't affect any other clubs yet. I guess the FA's logic will be the games will be played eventually (unless it becomes apparent the club is unable to continue).
