Haven't watched Christmas TV in ages! We're at Mum's this year so will be somewhat at the mercy of what she wants to watch but of that list the only thing I fancy is Ghosts.

Same old same old. I guess ITV will have Seasonal editions of This Morning and Loose Woman on Christmas Day as well as a Bond film Nothing like it used to be.

We still have to endure having Halloween, Bonfire Night and Black Friday being forced down our throats before Christmas. I really don't care what's on tv at Christmas until one week before.

Looks a fairly standard listing for the BBC.
ITV will probably be Christmas Chase, Christmas Tipping Point, Christmas Lingo, a host of movies and Love Actually shown at the end.

I don't watch a lot of TV these days. I'll wait to see what the family movie is after the king's message.

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a bunny with a pancake on its head.

I don't watch a lot of TV these days. What a fantastic contribution to the TV forum ...To be fair, I don't watch a lot of TV these days - we don't even have live TV except for wrestling with streaming platforms to watch sport. I will, however, be looking forward to a bunch of Christmas TV, mostly the family films/Donaldson animation, plus Doctor Who of course.

I'm more bothered about the films - hoping for some of the mega-classics I've not seen, although am running out of those thanks to the vasTivo.
Wondering what Nigella will cook up in Amsterdam. Hash brownies?

Looking at the above line-up, only Doctor Who appeals to me.
I'll still be getting the Christmas Radio Times though!

I'll still be getting the Christmas Radio Times though! Yeah, me too. I always buy it at Christmas, though more for the classic movies and music programmes than the TV dramas.

I'll be getting it this year for certain as I've got a discounted subscription with Radio Times which is due to expire in early 2024. However if i didn't have a subscription I would have bought it anyway as i think I've bought every Christmas issue for about 30 years.

I want some more spooky Christmas/wintry series Although given the mess they made of A Christmas Carol a few years ago, I should perhaps be careful what I wish for...

Agreed. I absolutely love the MR James ghost stories series he produces.

Mrs. Brown's Boys is always good for a laugh - and I like the new Weakest Link.
