Yep, Roddick was knocked out - could make things easier for Tim since he was the projected Quarter Final opponent - but strangely enough, I'm still not 100% certain that he'll get that far! Tim always manages to under achieve. He missed his chance at Wimbledon a few years ago. Can't see a major trophy coming his way again. *predicts third round loss for Tim*

Tim is best on grass though, not bad on concrete, and not that good on clay, look at how the Spanish suffer on grass and think the other way for Tim. Didn't one spaniard refuse to come to Wimbledon cos "Grass was for cows"? Well clay is for making POTS! ;D

I was wrong earlier, Tim has won easily 7-6, 6-1, 6-2 and he's in to the second week of the French Open for the first time ever! ;D

;D First of all, congratulations to Tim for being the first British man through to the last 8 of the French Open in 31 years.... But my god! - he's never simple with his victories 9-7 in the final set! I almost need to go to a nail salon after this.... he looked so exhausted at the end!

Play is currently suspended - (of the Williams/Capriati match, Henman's not on till third), I thought that happened only at Wimbledon!

Tim wins in three straight sets and personally I think he's playing the best tennis he's played for a long time. Not sure he'll get any further at the French Open, but this is still a big achievement for him. Perhaps he does still have a chance at Wimbledon after all! ;D
