Two Russian girls in the final. We may have two Argentine in the men's final NO! Tim can do it! His greatest chance is that his opponent isn't used to playing players who serve and volley, so if Tim can get on top of his own game he can win. Clearly he's not the favourite though. Surprised Capriati lost!

I know it. He's the only net player left in the tournament. The other 3 guys are all base liners. He still has his chances tho & hope he'll make it, but Coria is the toughest player off the three lads so good luck to Timmy

Perhaps his different style could be an advantage... the base liners may be more used to playing against other base liners. Ooh, and the crowd likes him

*applauds Tim at the end of the match*
He played well! Coria hadn't dropped a set in the entire event before today and Tim really stretched him and made him feel like he was in a match. At the end of the day I think he did as well as he could! ;D

The men's final will be interesting on Sunday as there's going to be quite a lot of rivalry. Apparently the Argentine Tennis Federation pumped all their money into Coria and Nalbandian, and left people like Gaudio to fend for themselves. Now, Gaudio's already demolished Nalbandian. Can he do the same to Coria. Let's hope so! Coria's the best clay court player but his game is all based on confidence. If Gaudio can do what Tim did, and attack Coria, then he may struggle! ;D

Yeah, he seemed to be right on top of his game until he was broken... it's a shame

Dementieva plays quite well but she seems to suffer much from fatigue as she played some tough mathes against Davenport & Moresmo. She was struggling physically against Suarez in the second set tho she won the first 6-0. Besides she hasen't been as consistent as Myskina in the last couple of seasons. As for the Men's final. This one seems to be more difficult to predict. I don't have a very good memory but I think Coria won 13 matches on clay & only lost one... against Federer .The way he swung the game yesterday to his advantage is just crazy! He seems to track the ball everywhere & never gives up I'm not dismissing Gaudio or something but the man has lost few finals The final maybe very dull or very exciting. Frankly I'm not a fan of neither players but I'd like it to be a 5 set match with a quite long 5th set

Ooh, and the crowd likes him Well, Roland Garros IS the tournament of base liners. Net players never did well on clay! The best exemple is Pistol Pete "Sampras" He never managed to win at RG despite having a killing service & an amazing speed at the net, the same for Pat Rafter. I'm afraid French people weren't cheering up Tim. It's true they did when Tim lost the 3rd set 6-0 & was 3-0 down in the 4th. I think they wanted to see him back in the game for more excitement. The French wud never appreciate a Brit to win their grand slam when they have an armada of talented players who never won such an important tournament before

Doesn't sound like much of a final. Too one sided! Hope the men's is better tomorrow

Perhaps a few tiebreaks for added spice?

But Gaudio has won a set back from Coria and it's now 2 sets to 1 for Coria. Does anyone else think Coria looks a bit like Slater from the US 80s sitcom "Saved By The Bell"

The real question is, did anyone else ever watch "Saved By The Bell"? I did not all the time but I used to like it. To be honest I like sitcoms. They're very funny
