You should change my team on here to Charlton Athletic. Have you abandoned Bradford?

He said he couldn't have Barnet as his second team any more because they're in the same division as Bradford.

I have been watching Charlton this season, have a membership card (although not a season ticket) and will be going to my 5th game on Tuesday. I was not able to get to a Bradford City game the entire 2008-2009 season although I had a season ticket. Perhaps if they want my support they should have arranged to play games like Barnet away midweek.
Charlton Athletic are my "birth-place" team as I was born in SE9, about 3 miles from the Valley.

Well if they want my financial support, that is, e.g. I buy a season ticket. And they didn't even post it to me, they expected me to come and pick it up, when I live in London.
Just saying you support a team doesn't actually help that club unless you buy something from them like tickets to a game or merchandise.
I still look out for their results and I would like to see Peter Taylor do well there and for the club to go up 2 divisions back to the Championship where they once were and were able to hold their own. I don't expect them to get back to the Premier.
Bradford City did play one midweek game in the South in 2009, away at Bournemouth - but even that was too far to get to after work and they got stuffed 4-1 anyway.

Welcome along breathewithin, can I ask if Slovan Bratislava normally win their league? And how do you rate Swindon's chances this coming season? Play offs again?

Welcome, breathewithin! Oxford is my second team as I'm from there, so we are rivals Also, one of my officemates is from Slovakia. He went to South Africa and saw all of their world cup games (plus Paraguay-Japan, as he assumed Slovakia would win their group). Now there is a Slovakian flag in the window, and he calls us to lunch using his vuvuzela!

Throwing away a 4-1 lead to lose 4-6. Been down to ER loads of times. Not in a while though as I'm skint but hoping to make the Pompey match.
