Don't you think Scooch is catchy though Jade? no... all i can remember is the colours and the gleaming grins and the insipid lyrics and how it all made my head hurt...

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! GO THE SCOOCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be mid-pack as ever, but it's Scooch so I'm pleased!! Very surprised that the two rank outsiders and total unknowns made the final 2 though Brian was awful, Liz's song sounded like Son of a Preacherman, I expected Big Bro would be a dead cert to make the final 2, Justin & Bev is a grower and sounds a bit of a mess on first listen

The British public has got what it deserves - another entry which will finish close to the bottom.
Cyndi may not have won it but she would have come top 6.
And how distasteful was it that buffoon Wogan announcing the wrong winner?

I think the whole thing looks like a fix for Hawkins and Brown which hubby actually likes. Five way split in the family. Scooch is awful. It's time to go back to the past - my vote is going to Cyndi - a real class song. How seriously you take this makes me sad Did anyone think Cyndi's song sounded almost identical to You Raise Me Up?

Cyndi may not have won it but she would have come top 6. Doubt it - none of the songs would have done well if they went through, but Cyndi probably would have done the best as there aren't a great deal of ballads this year, and Cyndi would have made sure France and Malta gave lots of points!! And how distasteful was it that buffoon Wogan announcing the wrong winner? Hilarious!! In the climate of these unscrupulous phone-ins, I would be surprised if there isn't something that went wrong here. I wouldn't be so sure Scooch is certain to be "flying the flag" yet...

I'm disappointed with the public for choosing an absolutely abysmal track for the Eurovision, when they can't vote for Britain in the final talk about shooting ourselves in the foot with Scooch, we are sandwiched between two Novelty acts in the final, make that 3 now, we won't win, we come Rock Bottom, no country will vote for us anyhow. We could have came Top 6 with Cyndi or Justin & Brown, I so wanted Justin & Brown to win it, the girl had sex appeal and it was the best track on the night with Cyndi second.
Malta should walk the semis, and hopefully win the competition, they have came close to winning it so many times, they deserve it, and they so love to host the next competition, its their time this year, I'm rooting for them, my family heritage comes from Malta so I'm rooting for them to win it this year.

Did anyone think Cyndi's song sounded almost identical to You Raise Me Up? Yep, but then You Raise Me Up always sounded like Loch Lomond too

I much prefered the Big Brovaz but glad Cindy didn't win as it sounded like a million and one ballads already released.
I wasn't keen on Justin & Browns - if its a grower it wouldnt be much use for eurovision as it needs to appeal immediately.
Thought Brian Harvey was awful!

Hawkins & Brown and Cyndi were death! I hated the cockiness of Big Brovaz, especially since the main singer isn't that great, the other one is better.
I felt sorry for Liz & Brian.
Scooch are dire too, but they had a good routine at least. Nice to see they weren't shy of using our flag either.
Kelly Llorenna for 2008!

That Cyndi ballad does grow on you, 2nd time I heard it, I thought this could win, so I wouldn't have minded either being in the final for us. If Scooch dont make people smile and vote for us, then it sucks ass? Eurovision is all about fun isn't it? And this is one fun song. At the end of the day, we fund it, and we should do what the Germans do and send in any old entry. I say next year, we should send a thrash metal act, or an instrumental

I loved the show ! The best two songs were in the 'sing off' and I didn't mind which one of them won. Both fab !
I think Big Brovaz and Justin Hawkins believed they were gonna be battling it out to win.How I laughed when Scooch were chosen over Justin - the look on their faces.
I thought Hawkins and Brown would have been better without Hawkins.
Big Brovaz looked like they were in fancy dress, but I don't know what they came as.What was with the ballerinas ? Wtf ?
Liz sounded amazing, she might have made the final two if she performed last, but she had a bad draw being the first on stage.
Terry Wogan is old hat. They should ditch him ,and replace with Mel Gedroyc and John Barrowman !!
