Brian Harvey looks almost suicidal... and Justin Hawkins is NOT happy, almost threw his toys out of the pram. Result then!

Shameful winner. We'll come 24th again BOOOO. I loved Liz's song(I KNOW IT SOUNDED LIKE DUSTY) but who cares. it was very catchy. Justin was completely out of tune and don't get me started on Scooch... I wanted to kick the head on of the guy who was talking about "going down" etc.... truely awful.

What may be significant.
The 41 Eourpean "jurors" didn't choose Scooch as one of the top 2 songs in the British final.

Typical that of all the countries "Song For Europe" contests, it was the UK's where they announced the wrong winner. Shocking!!! I don't think we'll win - nor finish in the final 10. This whole routine that Scooch have has been before, so it's not exactly original. That said, I doubt we'll have 0. However, we could finish bottom with 1 point (from Ireland).

BREAKING NEWS! LOL
Eurovision row puts Scooch in the dock
A row has broken out over the competition to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest, after winners Scooch were accused of miming. The band won a public vote on Saturday to represent the UK in the contest, narrowly beating Cyndi. However, fellow contestant Brian Harvey is reported to have accused Scooch of cheating by relying on hidden backing singers. The band denies the claim, insisting that they did sing the track, although they admitted using two off-stage backing singers. It was not the only controversial incident on the night. Host Terry Wogan initially announced that French singer Cyndi had won, only to be corrected by co-host Fearne Cotton. The 52nd Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Helsinki on May 10-12.

If they are accused of miming, can they be replaced with Cyndi or is it too late?

I think if they broke the rules they can be barred from it yes I'm sure. It would be fantastic if they were dropped. I can't bare our song this year. VILE!!! I think Cyndi could have won it for us, it's very Ireland.

I thought it was clear they were lip synching at times to be honest, if that's against the rules get Cyndi in and win it for us! Although I'd like to see Scooch get a top 10 hit

More news: Big manson for Justin. Sore loser or what!!!!
Justin Hawkins has branded the British public "either racist or stupid" for selecting Scooch to represent them at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The former Darkness frontman is angry that 'They Don't Make 'Em Like They Used To', his duet with soul singer Beverlei Brown, lost to Scooch's 'Flying The Flag (For You)' on the BBC's Eurovision trial Making Your Mind Up.
Hawkins wrote on his website: "The UK must be either racist or stupid not to have voted for Big Brovaz or Beverlei. It's like when multi-award winning, multi-million selling Lemar lost to David 'Three stars at Burger King' Sneddon in Fame Academy. Nothing changes.
"The whole thing whiffed of a stitch-up, particularly when you consider that our supporters had their banners confiscated by security, whilst Scooch fans were filmed proudly waving theirs."
However, a BBC spokesperson denied Hawkins' claims of unfairness, saying: "These are ridiculous comments. I'm not going to comment about what he thinks of the British public but, as far as his comments about the BBC, none of his banners were confiscated."
Scooch's manager Andrew Hill added: "Of course, it wasn't a stitch-up. This is sour grapes on Justin's part."

Big Brovaz lost because they were crap and would have gotten us 0 points again. Rap(crap) doesn't do anything at EV.... Thank god.

I didnt see the programme picking the song - so I dont know what the other songs were like - but I heard Scooch on This Morning today and sadly Im not very impressed with the song or them as singers. But I love Eurovision and will be rooting for them - dont think they have a chance of winning though - even if they had the greatest song ever - its all down to politics isnt it. But great fun to watch! Love Melody xx

Scooch must have been singing live, as they were badly out of tune at the start! Only one of them can actually sing though (the brown haired girl) Gotta love them for trying though!!

Whats going on with the British public? maybe people was drunk and started voting for them and i heard that some people voted by text and they never got a reply to the text till a few days late so i think some votes that had supose to have been counted wasn't.

Firstly, it was St Paddy's day, so I daresay there were a few drunk people who voted for Scooch for the hell of it Secondly, I am convinced there was some scam with the phonelines that night. In the "final two" vote, they didn't show the numbers again, and I didn't get a confirmation text after my vote for the mighty Scooch second time around Something dodgy yes, but the end result was satisfying
