Yes, Time To Say Goodbye is my favourite all-time #2 hit.
It was a good song but Dusty had a lot of better records than IJDKWTDWM which didn't do as well.

All I Ask Of You is my favourite Cliff Richard song and the only one I voted for. Those who did vote for it really liked it because its average vote was 88.5

Cliff'd Some People deserving of its top 80 place.
Ruby Tuesday one of my favourite Stones'.
It's going to be really interesting to see in what order the Abba tracks finish. I reckon they might have 2 in the top 10.
I wonder if Everything But The Girl might be #1? It seemed to get a good lot of mentions.

One Of Us would be my favourite Abba #3 but I think Gimme Gimme Gimme might finish the highest.
Vanessa Williams' Save The Best hasn't appeared yet so I'm delighted it is going to finish quite high. It was my #2.
I don't know what will be #1. Maybe Savage Garden or one of Madonna's.

Some good songs in the last batch including two of my top 3 - Staus Quo and The Supremes.
Very pleased to see the Supremes finish at #46 as the 60s songs are at a disadvantage among the younger Haveners.
So all Abba's are in the Top 40.

Well done, Sir! For Cliff to make #31 is fantastic given the natural antipathy towards him by most Haveners.
Abba only just had all their records in the top 40. I thought Angeleyes/Voulez Vous might have done better as it had the advantage of two tracks to choose from. I love Angeleyes but my cousin prefers Voulez Vous.
There will be a lot of surprises for me in the top 30. In 40-31 I never even noticed tracks like the Chemical Brothers, Vapors or Junior Senior when I read the individual charts!

No, it doesn't surprise me that Angeleyes / Voulez Vous is considered the weakest of Abba's #3s. It was a "true" double A-side, i.e. Radio 1 actually played both sides about the same, and when it spent its 3 weeks in the top 5, and back then they used to play the top 5 as they started the countdown, they played Angeleyes on both of its weeks at #5 and Voulez Vous on the week it was #3. I think the majority would say Voulez Vous was the better of the two tracks, Angeleyes is no more really than an album track, albeit that I only have one regular Abba album, that being Arrival, actually my first ever album, given to me for my 12th birthday.
So two singles from 1979 in this section, and one from 1980. So much my era (as well as Abba's other song from 1981). And Together In Electric Dreams , although that was 1984 and I was already 19 by then and at university. But it was my #1 for 7 weeks at the time I started uni and so memorable.

I think that may have more to do with SAW than Cliff That comment hit the nail on the head for me. Some very very VERY good songs for me in the 21-30. Trash, Money Money Money, Hazard, Happy Hour are very good songs. Fallin' is exceptional, but is destined to be a talent show standard audition song forever.

We're in the top 20 now. 5 more:
20 Bangles - Walk Like An Egyptian ( 10 ) 610 19 Killers - Somebody Told Me {2005} ( 10 ) 613 18 Aztec Camera - Somewhere In My Heart ( 9 ) 670 17 EMF - Unbelievable ( 13 ) 679 16 T-Rex - 20th Century Boy ( 11 ) 684
20th Century Boy did have a 90s revival but aside from that we have hits in this list from 1973, 1986, 1988, 1990 and 2005, so a fairly good spread.

One of the members of EMF was called Ian Dench, and I think he is also the one who wrote Unbelievable. I met him when he was with the band Whistler.

Vanessa Williams at # 22 ? Hmm yeah ,I'm happy enough with that.(Some) Haveners have such good taste Ooh Bangles did well. I really like 'Walk Like An Egyptian' but I didn't think that it would get enough votes to make the Top 20 (just).Pleasantly surprised
