two more to get us into the top 5, but I'm going away later in the week so it might have to wait until I come back to complete this:
Highest placed Abba song is at #6.
7 Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill ( 10 ) 750 6 Abba - Gimme Gimme Gimme ( 12 ) 778

Two excellent songs. Still no EBTG Missing (Unless I missed it, of course).

Two excellent songs. Still no EBTG Missing (Unless I missed it, of course). That's my guess for #1. Great Abba track.

I don't think I've ever heard a 'Green Day' song.
Pleased that Gimme Gimme Gime' got the votes .

I didn't mention when it came up but "7 Seconds" by Youssou N'Dour & Neneh Cherry was the one that got the most votes, 14 in total. But it only came 13th.
At #5 comes in the one that got the most first-place votes.
5 Radiohead - Paranoid Android ( 11 ) 809 ( yeahyeahtron, jukeboxjury, misterhamster, zodiac )
Those 4 supplied it with nearly half its total point count, the rest coming from the other 7 who voted for it.

At #4:
4 Everything But The Girl - Missing {1995} ( 13 ) 843 (Smurfie)
You'll get the top 3 when I get back.

Aargh ! Earl Purple, you are so like Phillip Schofield when he hosts Dancing On Ice and there's 3 couples stood there, and we're about to find out who's in the bottom two - but then he goes to commercial. Oh and I like EBTG 'Missing' ......but actually prefer the cover version by No Mercy

Oh good, that horrible EBTG song isn't #1.

Liked the EBTG track which I thought might be #1 but Radiohead was above my head!

ok, finally I'm back and ready to continue. The last (i.e. the highest placed) #3 from the 21st century is:
3 Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out ( 11 ) 871 (maximo)
Also the last one that was somebody's top choice, as neither of the top 2 were the top choice of any voter.

Missed this when it went on. Never liked Oasis nor this particular record.
I haven't a clue what #1 is!
