there are plenty of big bands returning next year. who will shift the most albums by next december? can anyone top the million (almost) coldplay sold in 2008?

U2 will probably sell the most, especially given that the album is "early 2009".

GD mania after a wait of almost 5 years for the follow-up to American Idiot will be unstoppable.

I reckon Coldplay will have a more commercial album (although VLV did have a no.1 hit single) and will outsell the rest comfortably. Chillis could come close though.

Red Hot Chili's are on hitatus (sp?) but I am waiting for Green Day and Arctics and I think Green Day and U2 will be the big sellers

I think Evanescence will have one of the biggest next year well they're forgotten... I don't think they'll even go Top 10! Forgotten? They're still a rock/metal band that can sell over 5 million copies of an album!!!!!! Not alot of them can nowadays
