Yeah Myleene and, randomly, Nick Knowles!!! Watched last weeks on iplayer, surprisingly good! Ugh - Nick Knowles. He couldn't present his way out of a paper bag I meant to watch this. One of my brother's friends is in one of the choirs that gets to the stage before the live shows. I know they were contemplating quitting because of the way in which the production company are manipulating the show by telling them what to sing etc

Watched this last night and quite enjoyed it, whereas I didn't really expect to.

Is it true that one of the Choirs was made up of Disabled people? Does that not make the name of the 'Show' rather inappropriate?

Caught up with the first 2 episodes now. My favourites are Sense of Sound, Revelation and the Bath choir. I also quite like Common Room Choir and Dreemz even though they both have an awful lot of work to do. I am supporting Last Minute because one of the members is a friend of my brother. They haven't appeared at all so far, but are in the final 15. Their callback performance was very good (check the website )

Anyone catch it last night?
Clearly, the best two choirs went through.
I can't believe how much they backed off criticising Dreemz. They were absolutely awful last night!!

I agree, the choirs seem to have a mistaken belief that they have singers capable of solo performances - they don't
They should stick with the group harmonies

I agree the two best choirs went through, although I did rather like the Valerie/Faith mix. Unfortunately, the other songs the Alleycats did were absolutely horrible.
To be honest though, I thought the welsh choir was better than Sense of Sound, and they should have got the first spot in the final. Sense of Sound did have one superb performance, but also one very mediocre performance, whereas both of Ysgol Glanaethwy's performances were very good - and their choreography was brilliant.

I thought Sense Of Sound were marginally better than Ysgol Glanaethwy - SOS's version of Let It Be was better than YG's in their Beatles medley. Ysgol Glanaethwy's first performance was very special however

I'm quite enjoying this show. Some of the choirs use too much solo singing though I think - a choir ( to me) is everyone singing together in harmony. I'm very pleased that two welsh choirs have gone through. I did love the Hereford Police choir - thought their Perry Como medley was exactly what a choir sound should be - but I guess they might have been too old fashioned for some. I thought Libera who sang in the results show were excellent they performed Orinoco flow so beautifully. Really looking forward to this weeks show - especially the Results show as my favourite Tenor - Jonathan Ansell - is the guest singer! Love Melody xx
