Maybe taste and good sense has prevailed? Or maybe the cynic in me says they want you to buy the album instead?

If that is the case then that would be pretty scandalous as Leona herself went on the R1 chart show to say it was a single due to public demand. But someone on the chart forum reckons it'll be put back on itunes.

It is back on.
They've taken the album off and re-added it with 7 videos as well! I have to say for £6.99 17 tracks and 7 videos is a complete bargain, just a shame I've no interest whatsoever!

You've made it very clear you don't like the track, yet have come purposefully into a thread about it to say you don't like it. Why not be more constructive with your time? ;D

I read the title of this thread and thought it was a warning.

No stick up my ass, there are other things I'd much rather have up there thanks!

Well I think it's an absolute awesome version of the song. It puts a really different element on the Snow Patrol version being a female voice..

We're not the only ones to think so! www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a137961/snow-patrol-leona-sounds-phenomenal.htmlSnow Patrol: Leona sounds "phenomenal" Tuesday, December 9 2008, 23:38 GMT By Lara Martin Rex Features Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody has praised Leona Lewis's version of 'Run'. Lightbody told the Daily Record that the X Factor winner will be "the next Whitney Houston". "She obviously studied the song and thought long and hard about how it interpret it," he said. "She's stripped it to its bare core. I think she sounds absolutely phenomenal. "I'm not a big fan of shows like The X Factor, but when talent comes along, I can't slate it." Lewis first performed the cover on Radio 1's Live Lounge in 2007. The single knocked Take That off the number one spot in this week's UK chart.

So the Snow Patrol singer likes it. Doesn't mean any of us have to. ;d

Didn't say you did. I just said if the guy who wrote the song (not just sang it, Dan) thinks she's brilliant, then some of you indie snobs should get down off your high horses and stop being so miserable.

He probably only likes it because he's seeing how his current album is performing and thinking of the royalties!

Lightbody told the Daily Record that the X Factor winner will be "the next Whitney Houston". This is praise?

Sim, I like Leona, and really liked Bleeding Love, I just dont like this cover version, heard it last night, and she absolutely slaughters it at the end with her vocal historonics, and I'm not too sure on the production either, just sounds a bit blander than the Snow P version to my ears.

I have to agree the Snow Patrol production is better, it packs more of a punch. Leona's version is good, but it never quite builds up enough.
