Slow of me, but just noticed that "American Life" isn't on either compilation!

^ Yes it seems that most of her post TIC albums are represented by 2 songs so they went for Hollywood and DAD instead. Re the DVD, I imagine there would be bad publicity if AL was inc due to its graphic war related content.
Think the DVD is a fantastic release though.

No single CD tracklist yet? Just realised what you mean....don't think the official single disc tracklisting is out but rumour is it includes mainly TIC songs, new track Celebration and 4M, Frozen, Music, Hung Up and Dress You Up.

So it's not just Disc 1 of the 2-disc set on it's own then?

The dvd is brilliant (as strangely a lot of GH dvds seem to include the tracks not included on the cd!) but just falls short of being complete by missing off such tracks as AL. I know what you mean about the video being controversial, but then again, that's Madge!

^ Yes, though we do get Erotica and JML (sexual controversy) and WIFLFAG (adult violence). Guess AL is one step too far for WB. I am sure it will turn up at some point in the future.

^ Though maybe WB should have saved the 1 disc for a couple of years time as another cash in.

Celebration came on in a club I was at a couple of nights ago and I was surpised because everyone seemed to know what it was Was also a tad shocked that the dj played it. Sounds epic when it's that loud though! It wasn't a remix or anything.

Apparently there is an alternative video to celebration - one that was released yesterday is ok but is the same old, same old - yawn.
Hope the other version is larger scale. I wasn't expecting an epic video to this song but it is meant to be a "celebration" and the lead off single to a major Greatest Hits so she could have been more creative than just dancing in front of the camera in one room....with a crappy wig and a dress that does nothing for her legs.

Love madge and all her songs but I wont be buying the GH album lol. Its missed out my all time fave madge track 'Love Profussion'. Can't believe they put 'Miles Away' on it and not LP

^ LP is nice but is definately not a greatest hit. Neither is MA. They should have put on a major balled like Playground or You'll See instead but still loads of songs inc' so no complaints.
The DVD is essential - plus it includes the LP video - so maybe the DVD should be on your Christmas present list!

I'm sure there will be plenty more compilations coming out of Warners for years to come Bet there'll be a single disc No.1's at some point, with all her UK and US No.1's. You'll See has been covered by Susan Boyle on her album!
