Slow of me, but just noticed that "American Life" isn't on either compilation! Quite annoyed about this.

I'm sure there will be plenty more compilations coming out of Warners for years to come Don't think so. They are already phasing TIC and GHV2 out, plus in a couple of years there won't be any demand for another Madonna hits collection at all.

There'll be a box set - all those outtakes and unreleased demos. Then "The complete singles" in about ten box sets (needed by the time we get to Ray of Light to cover the multiple formats). Who has the rights to her "Live" "Recordings"? (I'm guessing she does, but noticeably there are some iconic tours which have never come out on DVD. Agreed, the thing with Pop music is that, for a larger audience, it has to be very much "Of its time," which makes anything bigger than a Greatest Hits collection a bit of a "Cult" thing. But when your Cult's as big as Madonna, there's still gold in them thar hills for a Record Label wishing to stip mine the catalog.

I can't see them ever deleting Immaculate Collection as it's one of the UK's biggest sellers of all-time.
