The album is really starting to grow on me. It's a lot darker and moody than previous albums, more keyboards and less guitars meant it took a while to get used to the Editors new direction, but Tom Smith's distinctive voice stands out as ever! I'm going to see them in concert in Sheffield on Thursday, can't wait!

Well it was a fantastic gig last night, they played a good combination of songs from all three albums. From "In this light..." the standout tracks included Papillon (obviously), Bricks & Mortar and Like Raw Meat, which all sounded amazing live!! Final song of the night was "Fingers in the Factories" which went down a storm with the audience. All in all a fantastic night, and to cap it off we managed to obtain the drummers drumstick at the end!! 10/10

I was at Sheffield too!!! AWESOME gig, so much energy, passion and of course brilliant musicianship - oh and the songs are pretty incredible as well! 10/10 from me too, and I even met the band after the gig... what more could you ask for!?

Lucky you, and I thought we'd done well getting a drum stick!! How did you manage to meet them?
And where were you? We managed to get right down to the front, just to the right of where Chris was on the stage.

We managed to get right down to the front, just to the right of where Chris was on the stage. By waiting out in the cold. They came out about midnight I think - Chris first, then the others soon after. I was a bit surprised that nobody else was about, they're very friendly and approchable guys! Oh and I was on the balcony - great view. Sounds like you did VERY well to get so near the front, and the drumstick is pretty damn cool IMO!!!

I've just popped a review of the gig in the 'Reviews' forum if anyone's interested; please feel free to add your own views if you want. And yes, the car park I went in (probably the same one) was extortionate!

It kicks like a sleep twitch! Oh god, everytime I hear that all I can think of is Reggie trying to be funny saying he doesn't understand the lyric!
