So now that the last film in the series has been released for a decent amount of time, it's probably time to see which film is everyone's favourite Mine is the 5th, 'Order Of The Phoenix.' It's much better than all the other films imo. The first three were too 'tame' imo, probably because Voldemort hasn't risen yet. And I can't enjoy the 4th one too much since none of the cast seemed to be able to afford a hair cut that year. In the 5th one you've got the vile Umbridge woman, the amazing Helena shows up, a main character (who is actually cared about) dies and there's a brilliant final show down. I thought the 6th film was a bit too forgettable until the last 40 minutes, and the 7th film would have been entirely forgettable if Dobby hadn't died. And I think the last film was too rushed, and it seemed a bit anti-climatic imo. The battle scene was great while it was going on, but all the deaths were too rushed. Belatrix should have had more of an epic end, and even the Voldemort scene was weak imo.

Mine is the final film Deathly Hallows Part 2. The first 4 were fantastic, 5th was very dark but still good. Only the 6th and 7th disappointed me as they seemed very slow and not very exciting.

Nothing beats the magic of the first film for me, absolutely love it!

Goblet of Fire never worked fully as a book and neither as a film. I'm watching them on Saturday evenings. ITV come to the rescue . Since I have only seen the first four as of yet will wait to pass judgement.

Chamber of Secrets was the worst film IMO, seemed very disjointed!

It's a pretty even spread of votes so far. I'm not surprised at no votes for the 6th and 7th - they are generally regarded as not that great

i voted for 7 part 1 - a very tense, dark film which was so different from the others: it was the first one that didn't follow the 'hogwarts term' model, but the actors all handled it very well. and as much as i love hogwarts, i love this film for that.
also the bathilda bagshot scene is probably the most effectively chilling that any HP director has ever produced!

I haven't seen DH Part II yet so my vote goes to DH Part I.

Half-Blood Prince was one of the better books, but didn't come across so good as a movie.
