We are so going to be in League one next season unless we:
1. Sack Jewell 2. Buy some defenders 3. Get rid of Smith, Leadbitter, Delaney, and a few others. 4. Get rid of our stupid attitude 5. Get rid of Evans and Clegg 6. Score some goals.
FUMING!

Jewell was manager at Bradford when they beat Ipswich to promotion in 1999. He was also manager at Wigan when they beat Ipswich to promotion in 2005. Jewell is a curse on Ipswich and always will be.
Having said that, the 1998-99 season did start very poorly for Bradford and then they got better, so don't give up just yet.

But did you lose 5-2 then 7-1? And have no defenders!

In 1998-99 the worst defeats were 0-3, against Ipswich away near the start and home against QPR as one bad result in a good run.
Norwich lost their opening game 1-7 at home a few seasons ago then went on to win league one but that was after poaching the manager of the team who had beaten them. Perhaps you should try that one.

ahh, not great, i had them down as an away win I did too. Followed the scores while away on the BBC live text and couldn't believe what i was reading, especially after Ipswich had taken the lead. I saw some of the goals last weekend, think it was on Soccer Saturday, and I noticed Ingimarsson was playing... The problem with Ingi is that he needs protection from the midfield otherwise he just gets exposed. You can imagine my surprise when i then discovered when i got back that Sonko had joined the following week and also replaced Ingi in the team! I was unconvinced about him coming back to Reading and the pre-season reports didn't make me change that view, but i thought he was mad to have turned down our contract offer the week before. Fair dos to him though, he's gone and got himself a contract at another Championship club, prob after speaking to Ingi.
