In the post Christmas rush, where all the festive songs drop out quickly, someone usually benefits and there is usually one track that suddenly regains popularity and surges back up the chart. Last year it was Jessie J's 'Do It Like A Dude'.
Out of the following, who do you think might shoot back up in the higher reaches of the chart?

If it's a sleeper hit, then surely Sleeper should release a song and hey presto they have a hit!

It'll probably be something that hasn't taken off yet- like Example or maybe James Morrison and Jessie J. One performance over the Christmas period could do it

That is possibly the most depressing list of songs anyone could possibly come up with. Even a mixture of "Gloomy Sunday", "Strange Fruit" and "I Hate Myself And Want To Die" would be less likely to induce suicide.

I voted for Rebecca Ferguson, but think it's more likely to be Katy Perry or James Morrison/Jessie J, since Broken Strings did much the same thing when it was released.

Out of the following: Lana Del Rey - Video Games
But I suspect the Jan/Feb 2012 sleeper hit will be Azealia Banks - 212 due to the Numerous Sound Of 2012 polls.

I would go for either Katy Perry - The One That Got Away or James Morrison & Jessie J - Up
But going on the list options - Adele - Someone Like You.

Here's a much better Sleeper hit than any of the above...

I would expected Maroon 5 "Moves Like Jagger to be on the list, its a great track for office parties which should benefit quite a bit.
I have to go for Lana Del Rey in that case.

I'd love for it to be Rebecca Ferguson or Lana Del Rey, but I also think it'll be between Katy Perry and James Morrison.

Heather is apparently re-releasing Proud in the new year. I for one can hardly wait.

It's not really a sleeper, but I'd not be surprised to see the original version of a song currently covered by Glee, "We Are Young" become a hit in the new year. The original's by Fun. (Fun dot) - it could well do a "Jar of Hearts"...

It's was a sh*t song and still is a sh*t song, why does she keep re-releasing it. If people like it then would download it now. *edit* Here is the Wikipedia write up.... "Proud" is a song by M People singer Heather Small, which was released in May 2000, peaking at #16 on the UK Singles Chart[1]. It was the title track from her debut album Proud, and was released as her first single becoming a worldwide hit. The song was co-written with and produced by Peter-John Vettese. In 2005, the song was adopted as the official theme for the London 2012 Olympic bid, and was featured in a widely-seen promotional video for the bid.[2] Re-released in honour of this, and due to the fact a new M People greatest hits titled Ultimate Collection, which also included two of Small's solo songs, was released the same year, the song returned to the UK Singles Chart peaking at #33 and remaining in the Top 75 for two more weeks.[3] The song was also re-released on The Biggest Loser soundtrack in 2006. It peaked at #34
