as I posted the other day, for years I had this The Bends vs OK Computer debate... always going back and forth on which one is better... til lately I realized KID A is their masterpiece actually, not a while ago I bought the Deluxe Edition of The Bends, and tried to listen again and was not impressed and found the whole album kinda difficult to listen to... in regards to recent albums... Hail to the Thief has some amazing amazing songs (2+2=5, Where I End and You Begin, Wolf at the Door) but some horrible ones too that really ruin the album... which some editing it would have been an excellent album... In Rainbows is not bad, again some great, some ok-ish... and then there's the last one, TKOL, worst thing they've ever done imho. Tried again and again but it really doesn't click, does nothing to me, the lyrics, the music, I donnot connect at any level...

As a whole album, I prefer OK Computer but The Bends perhaps has more great individual tracks.
All their albums have some great standout tracks but in terms of an album as a whole, I think In Rainbows was their best since OK Computer.

The only ones that have never quite clicked with me are The King Of Limbs and Hail To The Thief. It's a toss-up between The Bends and OK Computer for my favourite album, but In Rainbows and Amnesiac are also brilliant.

I could never get into the kol think that or Pablo honey are there weakest efforts.they have such a good batch of albums all different to one another. I do love in rainbows but they all have there outstanding moments kid a takes a long time to get into.

To me they were always a singles band with their catchy boy-meets-girls songs...

A cross between The Bends and OK Computer for me. Both contain their classics (apart from Creep of course which is on Pablo Honey). Love Karma Police off OK Computer, possibly my fav track from the at album. Just from The Bends is also good.
