Blur's Hyde Park show at the weekend will be available on iTunes within 24 hours with a doubleCD following a week later. There will also be some songs from the warm up shows on a third CD. A DVD of the show will be released in November accompanied by the three CDs above and another CD with a recording of their show at the 100 Club. www.blur.co.uk/news/blur-parklive-available-on-download-cd-and-cddvd/

Great night last night and as I was ill in 09 glad to have finally righted that wrong. Still didnt top their Glasto set for me though. They way Damon was at the end suggested he thinks it might well be the end, but given how good Under The Westway sounded last night I really hope it isnt.

You mean you were one of the people lucky enough to be able to hear? A lot of people have complained that they couldn't hear it with some walking out before the end as a result.

Yes I have read plenty on that. I was pretty central and not far in front of the barrier they had hope so wasnt that close to a speaker, but although the odd person behind me was saying turn it up I thought the sound was fine. Ive been to many outdoor gigs and festivals and have heard a lot worse, the main stage at Reading has become really bad in recent years unless you are stood underneath a speaker. I just hope in a way that given the sound issues it will make Blur do another gig to make up for it. Id love to see them somewhere like the O2. I did get the impression though that some people had paid £65 just for a day out in the park rather than to see Blur.
