Could be a close one this year. Wales would usually be favourites but there could be a bit of Lions hangover for them, possibly leaving the way open for France. England should continue their steady improvement and have a chance but it might be a year too soon for them. I wouldn't rule Ireland out either.

Unfortunately the Polish TV channel who had the licence to show the Six Nations last year haven't got it any more, but one of the Irish pubs might still be showing it on a stream. I hope they manage to, because the place was always pretty crowded with ex-pats last year.

Can't see England challenging, 3 away games isn't it? Starting off with France in Paris, and when we've played in Paris first game we've never won!
Got a sneaky feeling France will challenge, but assuming England don't win I hope Wales do.

Half-time between Ireland and Scotland.
No spoilers.

FASCINATING FACT: The last four Five/Six Nations Championships that have taken place the year after a Lions tour have been won by France. Three of those four wins were Grand Slams...

Can't say I'm surprised by the Scotland result.

Every time they seem to make progress, they seem to regress twice as much the following year. England could've won 40-0 on Saturday were it not for some solid defending from Scotland.

France really weren't very good last night though, undisciplined at the back and too sloppy going forward. An England win today would really open up the tournament, putting the top four teams on two wins each.

What a Championship this is turning out to be with a 4-way tie with 2 rounds to go, and Ireland ahead on points difference.
1. Ireland 4 (+42) 2. England 4 (+21) 3. Wales 4 (+6) 4. France 4 (+1) 5. Scotland 2 (-41) 6. Italy 0 (-29)

An England win today would really open up the tournament, putting the top four teams on two wins each. Wales were due a big performance, particularly in front of their own fans. Some of those players were playing for their international future last night. And France do have a tendency to bottle it when they're going well. They play much better as underdogs.

Tough on Scotland just losing out to France.
Looks like Ireland's title because of their massive points difference advantage but you never know what France will show up.
