From a rankings perspective, Ronnie will move up to #3 if he wins. If he loses, he will remain at #4.
Judd Trump will be up to #6 if he wins, #7 if he loses.
Graeme Dott's QF defeat means Robert Milkins hangs on to the final Masters place at #16.

Trump's played awful this afternoon. Ronnie's barely had to hit third gear and he's 5-1 up.

Ding's spell as world #1 will last only a week as he will drop down to #2 this weekend after the Lisbon Open PTC event that is taking place. Ding is dropping the money he earned for winning a PTC two years ago, which takes him back below Neil Robertson, who becomes the new world #1. None of the top 4 are playing in Portugal this weekend.

In much better news for Ali, he's been given the all clear after suffering from cancer for the second time.

Sunday's results: Mark Selby 5-6 Shaun Murphy (Murphy led 5-1) Stuart Bingham 3-6 Marco Fu (147 for Fu)
Fu's 147 was only the third maximum in the history of the Masters. The other two were by Kirk Stevens (1984) and Ding Junhui (2007).

Tuesday results: Ronnie O'Sullivan 6-4 Ricky Walden Barry Hawkins 1-6 Ali Carter O'Sullivan had two centuries to equal Stephen Hendry's record career total of 775. The second to win the match thanks to one of the most outrageous flukes (on the yellow) I have ever seen!
Shame that Ronnie and Marco Fu, two of my favourites, have to meet in the quarters.

No doubt the right guy won the tournament. He looked unplayable all the way through the final.
